I just downloaded and installed Wippien after uninstalling it. And now when I try to run Wippien I get the following error "This application has failed to start because msvrtd.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem"
I have re installed and same error. Do I need to reboot between uninstall and re install?

I'm having the same issue, and so is my wife's computer, along with our friend's computer. Although the .dll file is "MSVCRTD.dll" on all our error messages.
Wippien has worked well in the past, this is the first time I've seen this error and my wife and I had just updated wippien - our friend had just installed wippien for the first time and he received the same error. If any additional information is needed, let me know if I can help.

But.. This looks like DEBUG version was distributed instead of release one. How large is your Wippien.exe?

yup same size here. I think the normal exe file is quite smaller.. so it could be the debug version..

Yes, 5MB is debug. But that's not online now.. What version does it report, when you click on 'About' button at the bottom?
I have double-checked everything, it's "clean" version online.. Can you download installer again and try it out, is it still 5mb?

When I click "about" I see:
Wippien: 2.1.2.292
wodXMPP: 1.2.3.97
wodAppUpdate: 1.3.3.89
wodVPN: 2.0.1.74
I uninstalled wippien, deleted the wippien directory to remove the .dll I had downloaded from danrevella's suggestion, redownloaded the installer and reinstalled, (I noticed the installer size changed from 1.71 MB to 1.56 MB from the last time I installed) and wippien ran normally. I checked "about" again and all the versions were the same.
