I have two accounts I would like to use with Wippien, one MSN .net and one google talk. The thing is they both use the same email address (gmail) how do I set this up?

I managed to get the gtalk working, but I read that it doesnt support contacts from other networks, so I would also like to add my MSN account, but I registered the same email for my MSN .net account, and don't know how to set this up with Wippien.

I don't think you'll be able to do it. You can easily use GMAIL as main account. Then you would go to green plus icon, add MSN gateway, add MSN account, etc..

However.. Problem is... Gmail will not provide MSN gateway, so you're out of luck here. If you would use Wippien's server you could add MSN gateway, but then you cannot add Gmail...

OK, is there any way to tell wippien to use my email to log onto the msn network instead of gtalk, because I have registered the email also on .net?

Wippien uses Jabber protocol. I am not sure if MSN supports Jabber.

Ah alright, I have no idea either... I'll create a Wippien.com account then. Thanks for the help, great support here.

One last thing I noticed when using wippien.com with MSN is that some of my contacts would correctly update their screen names, pictures, etc while others would only show the first bit of their email as a screen name.

Do you know how to get everybody to use this or why this happens?

if you right-click on it and choose 'details', does it update the name?

Wippien will eventually get all details, but it will request one by one each few minutes.
