it would be nice if the activity over vpn could be monitored. Like hamachi has the glowing status circle. only this could have a histogram or a variable-color background of the contact (it fades more yellow as the more activity flows from that contact)

or instead of the status message, don't look at it anyways

Lets keep it plain and simple, maybe you can use the wippien tray icon, the small green dot with the > in it...
put it in front of the peer on activity.

i would rather have it per user, rather than with the icon. As i have multiple contacts, i would like to know who is looking through my shares.

Actualy i meant per contact, i only used the 'tray icon' as a sample of what to put in front of a contact. (only a small part of the tray icon)
