thanks for ur help kreso, i updated to 1.8.3.233 and i can add my msn account now =) can i ask some questions? 1) Can i host a game on eg warcraft III LAN, and will my friend with wippien who added me already see it and join? ( does wippien works like hamachi?) 2) How do i enable the auto download of msn display pic, instead of the built in icons in wippien, currently i have to right click and go to their details then click on the default icon. 3)currently my contacts say VPN not establish yet, does it mean they have to have wippien to establish a VPN with me? thanks

Let me try to answer your questions: 1) Yes, you can. Currently problem is that everyone has to add everyone to their contact list. This should be changed in next few days when we add 'chat rooms' so it's enough just to join some room - pretty same (or even better) than Hamachi's network since when you leave the room you leave rest of (unknown?) friends 2) It will download by itself at random time, in next few hours. I don't want to download everyone immediately, so I auto-update avatars after few minutes 3) Yes, of course, Wippien must be on remote side too. Hope I helped. Kreso

Hmm.. theres really something wrong with the mediator. I want to create accounts for my friends, however, ip keeps staying at 0.0.0.0 i created My attempts- Registered normally and did not touch any settings result after restart: 0.0.0.0 Went to : settings->mediator->http://wippien.com/ip/?jid=zenith-dorm result after restart: 0.0.0.0 Went to: result after restart: 0.0.0.0 Went to: settings->network->ignore.ip will be set outside the program result after restart: 0.0.0.0 How i connect: via wifi to a linksys wrt54gc router, firewall off, antivirus off, router firewall off, had no problems with hamachi. its really frustrating being unable to use this great program. because im fed up with hamachi constant lag and downtimes.

I have checked web logs. You have never requested IP from our website. Are you sure you have WEB access available? If you open in explorer http://wippien.com/ip/?jid=zenith-dorm@wippien.com what do you get? You can set IP that you see as result in Wippien manually. But I'm worried problem is somewhere else. Kreso

i get <VirtualIP>5.0.52.43</VirtualIP><VirtualMask>255.0.0.0</VirtualMask> <Mediator><IP>209.59.207.127</IP><UDPPort>8000</UDPPort></Mediator> <Mediator><IP>hidk.no-ip.org</IP><UDPPort>8000</UDPPort></Mediator> looks like i have to ask my friends to set their ip manually then. it seems that the program doesn't update the ip from the url. oh and when i add my friend it seems he is offline (requested authorization) and he did not recieve any notifications. thanks for your help

What kind of connection do you have? Are you behind some proxy that could be interfering with WEB requests made from Wippien? I don't understand why Wippien cannot obtain the IP. Kreso
