Im running Ubuntu Server 8.10
I installed wippien and can run
sudo ./wiptun
then i used ssh to try ./wipclnt but all i get is
IP 0.0.0.0
Netmask 0.0.0.0
and under wiptun
Got IP 0.0.0.0
Got Netmask 0.0.0.0
Leaving...
i did have hamachi installed before but i think ive removed it
also i was wondering how to start wiptun in the background

Did you use JID that is already registered? Which one is it, I can check logs.
You can run wiptun in the background by adding & character at the end of the command.

I realised im meant to put @wippien.com after the username.
now i have Disconnected from XMPP server so im guessing i need to look at that thread

fixed that problem by creating a new account but im wondering is it possible to run wipclnt in the background as well?

Sure, add & at the end of the command, just as with any other unix command.
