I've problem with wippien
When I used wippien at home (only one PC,no LAN),I found no problem at all...But when I installed it on others PC (client)..I've ping,but I can't see others Ping =>> can't play Warcraft III ???
Firewall is off...What's the solution ????

I have had a simmar issue. I set up Wippien on my and a friends PC at home last night, the IP is black but I can't ping, and he can't ping me. I turned off our firewalls, and no go. Maybe a thread should be started on the many ways you have seen this resolved? More of a FAQ of workarounds of getting it the VPN part working... Great job on the program though!!

FYI: we are both using gmail accounts

if IPs are black then 100% packets are going through. I am 100% sure. PING must work. Something is blocking it. Are you talking about that 'windows firewall' in control panel? How about one available on right-click on network adapter? Is that one disabled too?

What if he runs some service, such as Apache? Can you access it from your PC? Can you do \5.0.xx.xx (using his IP)?

I believe I did the one that is on the adapter itself. I will try it on another PC though, He mentioned he has networking issues with his laptop in other places, so it may just be his PC.

What is the best practice with the firewall concerning Wippien?

There's no best practice. Do same thing you would do if both of you are plugged into same HUB on your LAN.
