if you're having trouble with games over wippien, make sure these settings are right: - Make sure the Wippien network adapter has the first priority (you can set that at the "advanced"->"advanced options" menu of your network connections) - Make sure wippien has a broadcast route, you can check that with your commandline "route print". If there's no route or it just doesn't work, go to your wippien adapter TCP/IP settings -> advanced -> add gateway "5.0.0.1" (or the first in your IP range), use manual metric of 1500, execute the command "route -f", reboot.

Install wippien on all computers you want to play the game with, make sure everybody has a connection (black IP / pingable). Set wippien adapter to primary (if it's not already) now this should work, if not please read general instructions on how to deal with this issue.

instructions that are frequently posted should probably be added to the FAQ, one stop shop for most common issues and setup instructions. Thank you, jrm

hi, I wonder why I can't actually play W3 over wippien, it's #1 in my priority connection, and I can see my friends with IP in black without problems, tried to put 1500 in advanced TCP/IP as metric number but I've also played other games like D2 and it worked fine before any configs. It ain't just work for w3 at the moment and can't understand this. I've checked all over the forum to find an answer but unfortunately found nothing. Tried battle LAN, didn't work, but immediately when I started to use Lancraft for w3 only over my Wippied IP, it worked fine. How can you explain this, and why it won't work at all with wippien but how can I still use my wippien IP to play w3 over Lancraft, is it problem with the game? Also, I'd like to know if wippien if affected by my router in any other ways, for example forwarding ports (I think no, but read somewhere that my router could give me some issues) note: wippien is working great on other games like diablo 2. Cordially, mazh
