I just installed Wippien for the first time today on 2 different PCs. One PC is running Vista, the other Win XP Pro SP2. They are both setup with different gmail accounts. JID: Password: xxxxxx Server: talk.google.com Port: 443 (check use SSL wrapper) Test Succeeds! Wippien Logs in, get's IP address, all is good. But upon exiting and re-running it will fail to connect and keep retrying. Check settings, and 'Use SSL wrapper' is unchecked. Recheck it, Test = success, hit OK, works great. exit program, and the bug comes back - 'Use SSL wrapper' is unchecked. So it is not saving this setting correctly. This is duplicatable on 2 different PC with 2 different operating systems (vista, and win XP Pro SP2).

Lux, what does About box say, which version you are using? This sounds to me like old bug. Kreso

K, just checked the version. seems to be current one : 2.0.0.233 ----- Release Notes ----- Jan 24, 2008, version 2.0.0 (BETA) * This is BETA version of chatrooms. It is released to public since old features are not changed, but no MUC chat rooms are added - so use them at your own risk (for gamers...) Jan 9, 2008, version 1.8.3 * Fix in GMAIL authentication ------------------------- Could it be the bug was re-introduced into the latest beta, since it says it was fixed in the previous build?
