Hey,
have you tried building Wippien on the new VC++ 2008? as you are using VC6 thats old...

wont you get any performance increase?

i dunno about that, just asking...

I didn't try on VC6. I did try in VS2005 and it worked (with small code changes).

As for why... Well.. VC6 is my primary development tool even today. I don't think Wippien suffers any performance issues so there isn't anything to speed up..

But thanks for pointing out.

Oh and VC++ 2008 EE(Express Edition) has been released...

Thanks, I do have "big one" since I'm MSDN subscriber. It's a matter of choice. I have 30 other projects which are made in VC6 so it doesn't make sense to convert just one of them to VS2005/2008.
