Hi, I was able to get online, however, in the Network and Sharing Center of Vista, somehow Wippien is shown as "unidentified network"? How to change this? For your informaion, I have UAC turned off already. Thanks in advance! daxanadu

Next to that unidentified network is a "Change" button, when you click it you can select wheter its a private or public network (select private ofcourse, with public sharing and browsing will be disabled by vista) Quote: Hi, I was able to get online, however, in the Network and Sharing Center of Vista, somehow Wippien is shown as "unidentified network"? Does this "unknown" part prevent any functionality? I think i remember something similar it should display "wippien network adapter" instead i don't think its realy important. Quote: I did configure weppien as "private" network" and it showns as such also...

I'm not sure...Although, as I posted in a separate post just now, WAN side communications seem to be limited to only chat. Everyting seems not working. Just if it might be useful for anyone who ran into the same issue: I solved the problem by changing the TCP/IP configurations of my Weppien . This involved manual entering my weppien IP as fixed, manual entering the default gateway, and under Advanced TCP/IP settings, changing "Automatic metric" to a manual entered number of 9000. By the way, I learned this trick from the Hamachi forum for a similar problem that bugged Hamachi. daxanadu Quote: I'm not sure...Although, as I posted in a separate post just now, WAN side communications seem to be limited to only chat.
