Howdy all. After stuffing about for hours myself and my friend were FINALLY able to add each other. was awfully cumbersome. but yeah anyway added each other. now what do we do to start the vpn to play games? my jabber thingo is mr.ferret@wippien.com and my mates is any help would be very very appreciated. (for the record neither of us have firewalls or any of that mumbo jumbo and i can see his ip next to his name and its blue)

Mr. Ferret, only IP address is important. You see friend's IP? Use it with your network game - that's all that's important in this case. Each peer should access other one using that IP address. Kreso

Cheers Kreso. thing is it says the vpn is not connected. is there a button or something i have to click? if so i cant find it

Nope, you can right-click on it and select 'ping'. If you set "establish VPN on network traffic" (it is by default) setting that VPN should be attempted. Kreso

Obviously something is blocking network packets from reaching each other. (windows firewall disabled or configured correctly?)

I really don't know why you can't connect. There are cases when Wippien cannot penetrate firewalls, as example if you have OpenBSD on both sides whose NAT doesn't use sequential but random outgoing ports.. Perhaps this is the case here too? Kreso
