I don't have a jabber account yet. I'm not sure if my gmail talk account would be applicable. I've tried creating the jabber ID but were not able to connect. What should I do? Could you assist me in creating one by using a common password then i will just reset it after. thank you very much.

Jaerie, you can use your gmail if you wish, most of features will work that way. As for creating new jabber account - why it failed last time? What error did you get? Kreso

I cannot connect with any id from my office. Telnet does not work === C:WINDOWSsystem32>telnet talk.google.com 5222 Connecting To talk.google.com...Could not open connection to the host, on port 5222: Connect failed === So what are my options now?

This means that you don't have access from your office to (most probably) ports other than web. At this point I don't think there's much you can do. We plan to implement proxy support but at this point you must have "clear" access to your jabber account. Kreso

google talk should work... you CAN NOT telnet the server! though i wouldn't use gtalk for wippien, as not all your contacts will be using wippien, they will be spammed by the mediator trying to establish vpn
