i am unable to explore my contacts (friends) folders..even he is not able to browse my folder

we both have shared the folder..firewall disabled

when we try to explore it says

"http://xxxxxx does not exist or is not a directory"

even he experiences the same problem

i am see him online
i am able ping him and vice versa
i am able to chat with him but not explore folders
i have shared a folder..still nno luck

now what else is required ..would u pls be more detail inur explanation..eveybody is not as briliant as u..spare a thought

I'm aware of the problem - I experience it too. it's your computer and peer's computer see themselves as different IP addresses.

I'm not sure how to workaround a problem, except to give everyone different IP.

Perhaps you access friend's shares some other way, using some program that will share them?
