Me and my friend established vpn connection, we can ping eachother and on double click hes ip is visible nad everything looks ok, but when we com to game lobby we cant see hosted games, nevermind who hosted. i have vista, and he have XP.
I had same problem on hamachi, and thats why i installed wippen, but problem remains....
firewall is off!
Any suggestions???

1. Wippien is first on the list in advanced options in network connections.
2. Tried with metric 1500 and automatic and gateway 5.0.0.1
3. Tried route -f in cmd
4 Firewall - OFF
5. Dont have any software that can block it...
6. Tried to force it with shutdown network connection and didnt worked too...
7 Tried everything i could find on google.
Conclusion : STILL NOT WORKING
8. Tried with different ppl with different os, and still the same (XP-VISTA, VISTA-VISTA, VISTA-WIN7, WIN7-WIN7)same at all... and it had working when i had XP (i dont wanna get back to it...)
ONCE MORE: I CAN PING BUDDY, HE CAN PING ME, VPN IS ESTABLISHED, BUT WE CANT SEE EACH OTHERS GAMES...

What game is your problem with?
I had something similar to your problem with an old game called Swat 3. Someone was completely invisible to me in the game's chat lobby and I couldn't see their game if they started one.
I have been too busy lately to test if things have changed this week. I see there is another new version of Wippien out so crossing my finger that the problem goes away.

It looks ive have problem with everygame WarcraftIII, Quake 3, and tried with many others... result - same, invisible - but strange thing, we can ping eachother, and he sees others ppl games but i cant see any, wierdest thing is that i could connect via ip on quake...wippien's IP....
Is there som1 who can help....

yeah i have the same problem with my vista, it seems vista is blocking something somewhere but i have no clue how or what.

Same on my side. But the console command connetc to ip works for the games that have the console. Hey, any game server browsere around here that supports all games and lan games?

what u need to do, it's to make sure, person with vista is the one, who is hosting the game. it will not work, if the hoster runs on xp and another one have vista ;/
