Freeze could happen if you use non-english translation. Possible?

I don't have answer to other questions. If your router has random NAT port allocation, it may be very hard to establish VPN. But I've seen that rarely.

About router... i don't understand the problem.... may you help me to better understand?

I have the same problem.

I have both Hamachi and Wippien running on both machines. I use UltraVNC for remote control. UltraVNC has no trouble connecting through Hamachi but not Wippien.

Sometimes I get "VPN not establised yet" other times I see the other user's ip in black, status is Online (but the other machine has "VPN not established yet", and I see the other user's port. But still cannot get a VNC connection.

Both machines are running Wippien 2.1.6.333, wodAppUpdate 1.3.3.90, wodXMPP 1.2.3.102 and wodVPN 2.0.2.79.

Something is clearly wrong.

I just noticed that I can't ping the other machine with it's Wippien IP but I CAN ping with the Hamachi IP.

Why would that be???

Just to be clear, the Hamachi IP is 5.x.x.x and the Wippien IP is 10.x.x.x so there is no conflict in IP's.

Sorry but I don't have answer to this. I assume this is somethign related to routing table, but can't say what could be wrong. Try to uninstall hamachi, or try Wippien on clean machine.

i have the same problem "VPN not established yet"...
me and my friend want to use wippien instead of hamachi but we can't seem to get the VPN connection...
also, another problem is that for some reason the wippien didn't install the network adapter on my friend's computer, so maybe that is the reason, but there's no appearant reason for that to happen, he installed it normally like i did, but i have the adapter (under network connection) and he doesn't.

we're both using the latest version and windows vista

I cannot say why it didn't install. Can you try to do it manually, as explained by this user:

About this problem. I have it too. The VPN is slow to establish sometimes. The IP remains blue and I have to double click it again and again and keep it flashing. Sometimes it never connects and either I or my friend restart wippien and sometimes it successfully becomes black and then we can play after restarting wippien. Most of the time wippien takes time to connect. So far i tried connecting with a friend in my country and someone else in France. I eventually succeeded connecting it but it takes about more than 5 minutes till I succeed to connect. I don't know what exactly is the problem but it would be nice if there was a fix. I've been using Hamachi for a while and to tell the truth. I like Wippien more than Hamachi now. I'm supporting it and wishing for new features and more speed in connecting. I see i'm not the only one with this problem. I hope it's fixed soon.

I have a similiar problem: I have about 10 contacts:
1) sometimes my own ip remain blue....
2) some contacts switch from blue to black so vpn is estabilished, but only on a few of them
3) so I switch my state from online to offline then again online, so a few of that contact who were ip blue, now become black, but not all!!! Many time I have to kill wippien then rerun it...!!
4) i try point 3) several times, then finally I get ALL contacts with black IP, but the situation does not persist... after a few time from minute to several hours I have to re-perform point 3) again....
5) This is NOT an exclusive problem of my computer... ALL other my contact experiment the same situation...
6)ALL computer are setting to estabilish a vpn on start and also on network connection request...

IN OTHER WORD...
Is it not possible get an option auto-reconnect to vpn without restart wippien or switch his status from online to offline to online again.....??
